The Givat Ram campus, named for Edmond Safra, contains the scientific departments, as well as The Jewish National and University Library. The Givat Ram Campus now houses the university's science departments and functions in tandem with the Mt. Scopus Campus, which was reclaimed in 1967 during the Six-Day War.
Crowne Plaza Jerusalem Hotel is located atop Givat-Ram at the entrance to the city and two miles from the Bible Lands Museum and 30 miles from Ben Gorion Airport. This location is also within walking distance of the Jerusalem International Convention Center, one mile from the Israel Supreme Court, two miles from the Israel Museum and Science Museum, five miles from the Tower of David Museum, and six miles from the Biblical Zoo.
